How long does a gas ducted changeover take?
A like-for-like changeover is usually completed in a day. If ductwork needs replacing or vents are being added, allow one to two days — confirmed with your fixed quote.
Should I repair or replace my old gas heater?
As a rule of thumb, if the unit is over 15 years old and facing a significant repair, replacement is usually the better money. We give you an honest repair-versus-replace comparison rather than a default upsell.
Do you test for carbon monoxide?
Yes. Every gas heating installation and changeover is commissioned with a carbon monoxide safety check by our licensed gas fitters, and we recommend regular CO testing for any gas heater — Energy Safe Victoria recommends servicing at least every two years.
