Common questions
Do you use subcontractors?
Installations are carried out by A-Temp's own factory-trained crews. For specialised licensed stages we use the same trusted trades on every job — never a marketplace of unknown subcontractors.
Is supply-and-install cheaper than buying retail?
Usually — our dealer volume with Daikin, Toshiba and the other majors means our supplied price plus installation is typically competitive with retail price plus a third-party installer, and you get one point of responsibility for warranty.
Which is better for my home — split systems or ducted?
It depends on how many rooms you're conditioning, your roof space and your budget. As a rule: one to three rooms favours splits; whole-home comfort favours ducted with zoning. We quote both where it's a line call.
Are there government rebates for upgrading?
Eligible high-efficiency electric upgrades may attract discounts under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program through our group's accreditation (no. A2067), subject to eligibility and site assessment. We check eligibility free as part of your quote — see our VEU Rebates page.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes — servicing, repairs and warranty work are handled within Accel Service Group by our service division Accel Air's factory-trained technicians, with capped-price labour and genuine parts.
