What does capped-price labour mean?
You're quoted a fixed labour price before work starts. If the repair takes longer than expected, the labour price doesn't change.
How often should gas heating be serviced?
Energy Safe Victoria recommends servicing and carbon monoxide testing at least every two years; for heaters over ten years old we recommend annual servicing. It's also a rental compliance requirement for Victorian landlords.
